For Web People.
A little handbook for web designers about how to use typography online.

Just google "one skill that web designers lack" and you’ll get posts after posts of it. Most web designers do not even realise that typography plays a crucial role in the overall design,user-experience and allure of a site.

The book explains and visually illustrates basic principals to keep in mind when using typography on a website - included font pairing, spacing, leading, kerning, what to do and what not to do. It's based off freeware such as google fonts and google autodraw. It's aim is to bring craft into a digital space. The grid used was based on the bootstrap grid of 12, 6, 4, 3 and 2 col.

Some thoughts

So maybe you’re thinking that this multimedia student is making publications about websites but where are her websites.

I freelance in web development and I can’t say that I’m fond of anything I've done. It’s all lame and not good enough to add any value to my portfolio.
